This week, Florida residents discovered that their proximity to the "Mouse" no longer affords them a discount on cruises. Previously, residents could receive discount which could save them hundreds of dollars, but the recent success of bookings on the Dream have allowed Disney to charge full price (and up) for upcoming sailings. Current sailings on the 3 or 4 day cruises are pricing at around $800 or are fully booked. We'll see what happens when the Disney Magic returns to Port Canaveral from the Mediterranean for its traditional 7 day cruises, although that short time period of possibly less demand for the Disney ships will likely end in April with the debut of the Disney Fantasy.
