Arriving and Getting Around: The terminal is a 20-25 minute walk (about a mile) from town. Taxis are 10 euros for the one way trip. You can also take a bus for 1.20 euro from the public bus stop past the taxi parking lot. Bus #2 goes into town, but there may be other options upon ship arrival. You can purchase the ticket on board, and the trip is about 5 minutes.
Two different sets of buses serve Corfu. 1. The blue buses that go to Achilleion Palace, and 2. The green buses which go longer distances such as Paleokastritsa. Bus schedules are available here The bus to Achilleion is number 10. Tickets are 1.30 euro, available at the bus company kiosk or village shops. The buses leave from San Rocco Square. You should purchase return tickets at the same time as they are not available on the bus. The fair rate for taxis is 15-20 euro each way, but a 25 euro "fixed rate" is usually requested.
