Valletta, Malta- Port Information

Getting Around/Transportation- Public Buses are very good here. You can catch one at the Terminal and purchase and all day ticket for 3.49 euros or 1 euro for a round trip to the Terminal.
You can walk right into Valletta, no problem. And if you want to avoid the crazy hill, there is a shortcut to an elevator in the parking garage. You have to go into the mountain where the cars for the parking garage come out and walk up a bit (not as much as the hill, though) At the top to the left is the inlet with the elevator. Take it up and you will be at the bus station if you want to go to M'dina, or walk across the street into Valletta.
Taxis are 10 euros to the city.
Hop on Tourist Bus- 15 euros. Hits all the major tourist spots.
Self-Guided Audio Tour of Mdina is here.

Restaurants: Here are some links to restaurants I've found.
La Mere- Top rated restaurant in Valletta on tripadvisor. Here are the reviews. The official website has menus. Reasonably priced.
We ate here and enjoyed it. It was very out of the way/difficult to find, but there were few tourists there. They have no tap water, but cheap house wine. We both had pastas and were so full that we barely ate half.
