We just got back from Malta. We're back on the boat a little early because my feet were killing me. Eliza, who we eat dinner with, has crocs that look like dress shoes and I am so jealous. Mom, there is nothing like crocs for comfort, and now I have so many blisters and my feet hurt so bad, I will be in tennis shoes for the duration of the trip. Unless I find some crocs.... Anyway, it was gorgeous, just surreal how pretty and old everything is. We saw 3 beautiful churches and the wrist bone of St. Paul. Yep, Paul of most of the New Testament. We also saw the Grand Master's Palace and the Armory which had suits of armor and weapons. James was loving it. And I got a suitcase to bring souvineirs back in for 15 euros.
Last night was formal night, and we saw the Cinderella show. It was sort of a retelling of the story and was very good. I have always been skeptical when people claim that cruise ships have "broadway-style" shows because I have seen a lot of Broadway and nothing at Disney World or any theme park has come close. But this truly was Broadway caliber, just shorter than a normal show. The actors had very good voices. Dinner was amazing. I had lamb for the first time, and Eliza and I both ordered seconds because it was so good. Then we saw the creepy magician again. I think we are done with him. It was okay, but he is so weird. Very stereotypical flashy magician with a thin assistant dressed in too tight gaudy clothing. Oh, and we saw the ventriliquist again before dinner. He was great.
Tonight is our dinner in Animators Palate with the colors changing, so that should be neat.
Mom or Kris, let me know how things are with V. I haven't turned my phone on yet because I didn't feel like I needed to, so if you messaged me, I haven't gotten it.
