We return this week with lots of cruise news featuring another new ship for Royal Caribbean, ocean cruising for Viking, a pair of refurbished ships from Carnival and an odd situation at Celebrity. Jason and his father provide a live ship review from the Norwegian Breakaway with details about entertainment, dining, ship features and much more!  This week we discuss which ships are the best to sail if you don't want to spend anything extra on board. Which ships have the best included food, entertainment and amenities? Which ones represent the best value? While we disagree somewhat in our answers, you're sure to find the conversation interesting. Our cruise news features how Carnival plans to solve the problem of "chair hogs", a new CEO for Celebrity, and our thoughts on a lady who wore a bathrobe for her entire cruise. 
This week we look at the large variety of drink packages offered on the mainstream cruise lines. We also talk about the rules and regulations for what beverages you can actually bring on the ship. Cruise news features the resignation of Celebrity CEO, Dan Hanrahan, and the coming revitalization of the Piraeus port in Greece. 
Our favorite cruise region, the Mediterranean, is the highlight this week as we talk about some preconceived notions and popular attractions in each port. Then, we talk about our personal favorites in each port and what to look out for. Cruise news features Norwegian Cruise Lines announcement about the Norwegian Breakaway and the fate of the Queen Elizabeth 2 in Dubai. We also discuss the lawsuit concerning the new cruise terminal in Charleston. 
This week Shon Ford, aka CruiseMan300, joins us to tell us all about his love for Norwegian Cruise Lines. He gives us details from his most recent sailing aboard the Norwegian Star as well as tons of port information for Bermuda. Cruise news features Royal Caribbean's upgraded Internet on the Oasis of the Seas and a lawsuit concerning the Costa Concordia.  This week Scott and JC review the Norwegian Jade, which is out of Venice doing Eastern Mediterranean sailings. No cruise news this week due to our being on vacation.  Disney World is the topic this week with details about all four theme parks, plus the resorts. In addition, we discuss how to combine a Disney vacation with a cruise.  Our angel at Disney World Our good friend, Scott, joins us to review his recent experience on the Norwegian Spirit out of New Orleans. We find out all about the dining options, staterooms, decor, itinerary and more. We also discuss recent cruise news including the tragic sinking of the Bulgaria.  |
